Scrolling through Dazed and Confused I came across Dior's Spring/Summer Collection... I was really impressed!

I won't lie: some of the shapes aren't really my style and it bugs me that most couture gowns are created for women with small boobs. But that's just the opinion of a haughty teenager. There's no way I could deny that the dresses are stunning and have a supreme level of craftsmanship.

Here are a few of my favourite...

This dress has a lightness about it. The pale fabric beneath the transparent appliquéd fabric looks beautiful and the folds in the skirt would make it move airily.

The way these stripes wrap around the dress is marvellous. The contrast between black and white and thick and thin of the stripes add interest to the gown. The hemline is interesting and had it been straight, this would have been just another dress.

The make up is fantastic. It's minimal around the eyes and then the sparkly lips are really lovely. My favourite thing about this is the detail flowing over the hips. The change in fabric adds texture to a black dress that otherwise would have been plain.

And last but certainly not least... THE GLOVES! So beautifully embroidered, I'm in love!
